Guide to creating Booking Form

> Login as "Overall Admin" or "Contributor"

    - Somehow when you login as the Administrator (supernusri) , you will not be able to see the "Forms Editor" option.

> The Plugin "Even Manager Pro" is the one that provide the "Forms Editor" - so that you can customize the "booking" form.
    - Otherwise, the plugin "Event Manager" will only provide the default booking form.

Creating a new Booking Form :-

  1. Go to = "Events" > "Forms Editor"

  2. Type in a new Booking Form Name (besides the "Add New" button) eg. = MyNewForm
  3. Onced you clicked "Add New"  :-
    -> You will see that "Selected Booking Form:" -> will now display the name of your new booking form eg. "MyNewForm"

  4. Look under "You are now editing" MyNewForm :-
    • You will see several default fields
    • You can remove any field that you want ( click "remove" for that field )
    • To add new field :-
      • Look for "Add booking field" button - click it
      • A new blank field appear
      • Type in a name for this field eg. = Academic Course

      • Next, click on "Select Type" to see some drop-down selections :- 
        • Example: Look for "Checkboxes" and click it  ( this will enable you to add several checkboxes)
        • Checkboxes "Options" will appear.
          -> add in per line the options available eg :-
          Economy
          Culture
          Energy

          • Click "Save Form"
    • If you need to add another field, just click "Add booking field" again
    • You can also re-arrange the order of fields by "click and drag" (via the "cross-hair" for that field that you want to move) :-

Adding a new Event using the new booking Form :-

  1. Create a new Event as usual
  2. Enable registration for this Event :-

  3. Look for = "Booking Form"

    • Selected Booking Form :-
      -> Click the drop-down button and select your booking form eg. MyNewForm

  4. Publish your form.

 

>> When user tries to register, they will see the checkboxes option (In our form example above)  :-

  • NOTE: 
    > "Guest user" will see the "Name" and "Email" input fields.
    > "Logged-in users" will not see the "Name" and "Email" input fields.

 - "Checkboxes" = more than one box can be "checked"
 - "Radio" = only one radio (circular) option can be selected.
